The Bavarian State Office of Environment relies on state-of-the-art methods when it comes to environmental protection. In August, the Donaumoos nature reserve was sampled with our eDNA kits. Subsequently, the samples are analyzed by means of diagnostic multiplex PCR for target species identification and by means of metarbarcoding / NGS for biodiversity surveys. An exciting, future-oriented project!
